T his restored, attractive, former French colony exudes a Mediterranean aura, with its chic streets, elegant houses, ornamental gardens and the Hotel Illuminated Monument in Park de Ville. Being a small and quiet enclave of Tamil Nadu, it has imbibed the Tamilian culture.
